Early in September, it appeared that the drought of the summer would ruin any chances for a colorful autumn; leaves were turning brown and falling earlier than normal.
But then came the rains ... some flooding too (all concisely and clearly explained in Al Gore's "Inconvenient Truth" by the way) and today (October 28), the colors are the best in the last several years!
So, after a bad several weeks (on a personal level), I got my camera and myself into the autumn woods ... with the results posted herein. I will be adding images through the weekend, and, getting to the woods to take more! Please return for frequent additions.
Thanks again to all who offered their good wishes, condolences and experiences.
