The Star ... ling of the show?
Rose-breasted Grosbeak, male. When I asked him to wipe the suet off his bill, he shot back, "Hey, do you you want the picture or not?" I got the point.
Downy Woodpecker, Male. The offering "suets" him apparently.
They come by for something to eat and I accommodate them ... all I ask in return is that they stay long enough for a photo op.
Many do.
