I won't touch them or feed them ... although they allow me to get quite close; not all human beings (so-called) are appreciative of wildlife so, when these fawns get within a few feet of me ... or I, them ... I back away. Often, the most dangerous animal in the forest ...

... is Man.

I want the deer that come into my back yard to be neither trusting nor afraid ... don't know if that's realistic.
