Everyone's heard of "PERSONality," the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual's distinctive identity, but wouldn't we humans be a bit pompous were we not to recognize character and identity in other living creatures? Sure, we notice it in our dogs and cats and other domesticated animals ... they live with and interact with us regularly ... why do you think we call them "domesticated?"
And I think it safe to say that we recognize personality in wild animals especially mammals. But, look through a lens at birds as often as I do and you'll see it in them also ...
But attributing "PERSON-ality" to non-human creatures is arrogant in my opinion ... those aren't PERSONS ... they have their own identities ... which I hope to show in the images I have posted.
